Placer Gold Centrifugal Concentrator Introduction

The gold centrifugal concentrator is a relatively new type of gravity concentration equipment. Which is kind of minerals equipment for hard rock mining to recover the placer gold, replacing amalgamation. It is also used to recover gold from the old tailings. This equipment has been widely used in gold mining all rover the world.

Application shows that the recovery can be as high as 99%, and the concentrating ratio is up to 1,000 times. In recovering the natural gold in lode ore with 65% of the ore having a milling size -0.074mm, the recovery for the natural gold is up to 98%, for the natural gold of 0.004mm in particle size, the gold recovery is 97%.

The gold centrifual is widely applied on recovering free gold in all particle size ranges, especially for recovery of fine gold which is lost during the operation of the gravitational concentrators (sluice boxes and jigs).

It also can treat particle sizes from below 10 microns up to a maximum of 6mm, which is most commonly used for recovery in Gold and Platinum. Other recovery uses include Mercury, Palladium, Tantalum, Copper, Silver and Diamond Indicator Minerals.

2  For now,six models have been developed. Capacities range from laboratory scale to 150 tons of solids per hour.Beneficiation test shows that the recovery can be 99%, especially for recovering the natural lode ore gold, when 65% Grind size are smaller than 0.074mm, the recovery is expected up to 98%. For 0.004mm size natural gold, the recovery is 97%. 

3   The cleaning up cycle is 1~4 hours. And the upgrade ratio is up to 1,000 times.

If the water pump is connected to the control box, the feeding water,back wash water, machine start and stop, and the concentrates discharging can all be controlled automatically by the control box.
