Rod mill is widely used in ore, water and power industry, can meet all kinds of ores, stone crush and artificial aggregate requirement, product size is even, over crushed products is less. The high efficiency energy saving rod mill uses the rolling bearing to replace the axle bush bearing, and uses dry oil lubricating grease replace thin oil lubrication, save 10-20% energy under the same power condition, production capacity increases 10-20%. As the material mobility in the dry production is bad, the capacity is only 40-70% of wet production. Advanced controllable input and output technology is used in the rod mill, combined the actual grinding material with the suitable grinding device, the grinding media contact with the ore in a linear manner, all these make the granularity of the final product is evener, the capacity is higher.

Working Principle of Rod Mill :

The electric motor drives the cylinder to rotate through the reduction gears and the peripheral rack wheel reducer transmission, or the low speed synchronous motor directly drives the cylinder to rotate through the peripheral rack wheel reducer transmission. Inside the cylinder, there is proper ore grinding media-steel rod. Under the eccentric force and frictional force, the ore grinding media is lifted to a certain height and fall down in the state of dropping. The materials to be ground continuously go into the cylinder from the ore feeding mouth and are crushed by the moving grinding media, and then are discharged by the overflow and the force of continuous feeding to go to the next procedure.

Features:

1. Evener granularity: When the material mixed with coarse grains rise along the liner, the fine stuffs go through the gap, the coarse grains are crushed, and it is ground at the grinding medium. So the final product of the rod mill is evener. 

2. Less over crushed products: The granularity feature is relevant to the rod mill grinding status. The coarse grains are first impacted and then the fine stuffs, it makes that the over crushed products are less. 

3. Large handling capacity:In the ore grinding process, the grinding media contact with the ore in a linear manner, so that it has selective grinding function. When used for coarse grinding, the processing amount of rod mill is higher than that of the ball mill with the same specification 

Adjustable output size: The output size is adjustable through simple adjustment, inlay size control device, classifying device can be added for output part. No over crushed or substandard products can sneak into the finished goods with the two times controls.
