The Oral Pharyngeal Airway is used to create an air passage way between the mouth and the posterior pharyngeal wall. Base on the shape there are two types of airway, guedel airway and berman airway. During the operation, guedel airway is quite useful when the tongue or epiglottis fall back against the posterior pharynx in anesthetized, or when the unconscious patients obstructing the
flow of air.
