Ultra Thin & Lightweight
Using advanced technology, our stone onyx panels are cut as thin as 3mm or 5mm , drastically reducing the amount of stone used.
The stone panels are then laminated to different backing materials allowing for use in a wide range of applications, many of which are not suitable for traditional solid stone.
Thin stone panels maintain all of the beauty, feel and attributes of natural stone, and the reduced weight allows for easier and faster installation.
Our panels are 1/3 to 1/6 the weight of traditional stone materials, saving natural resources and allowing for more pieces to fit into a container when shipping, further reducing environmental impact.
The reduced weight makes our panels lighter and safer to handle, resulting in less liabilities. Panels can be cut or retrimmed on the job site and installed over existing material, making installation faster.
Backing + Lighting Translucent Panels The stone is laminated with a choice of several different materials, each having its own special uses. These materials include fiberglass, aluminum honeycomb, plastic PVC, ceramic and tempered glass.
Translucent stone can be backlit using LED lighting that can be remote controlled and multi colored.
9mm tempered glass backing is designed to be used with 5mm onyx and translucent marble for both transfer of light and strength. Tempered glass backing is used for floors and two-sided applications
