C51 series conventional single column vertical lathe
Such vertical lathe has following features:
suitable of the ferrous, nonferrous metal and some kinds of non-metal materials with hard alloy, high capacity and high speed steel tools.
1. The single column vertical lathe is a super rigid lathe with big machining capacities, stable structure and high machining efficiency.
2.The lathe is equipped with one vertical tool head with one ram.
3. The lathe machines are designed and built to meet modern machining requirements of high speed steel cutters and carbide cutters on workpieces of ferrous, non-ferrous, composite and other materials.

- grooving,
- boring, drilling, reaming, etc.
5. Lathe Body
Main bodies of the lathes are made of high rigid resin castings with thermal stress relief aging treatment. Small cast iron bodies are hardened with high temperature. All the steel parts are thermal refined.
6. Lathe Structure
High torque AC 22 kW main motor for vertical turret lathe model C51 is adopted for driving the table through gear box. 16 speeds are achieved on the table. Double row cylindrical roller bearing is equipped under the table. The cone inner ring of the bearing can eliminate the radial clearance effectively for high precision and stable machining at high speed.
7. Hydrostatic Working Table of Vertical Lathe
Hydrostatic table is adopted with constant flow synchronous pumps. It features:
a). low friction for permanent life of table,
b). heavy load capacity on table,
c). oil film between machine base an d table absorbscutting vibration & loads,
d). a safety system controls the hydrostatic pressure for optimum safety.
