Zirconia Description
Pure ZrO2 is white, yellow or gray when containing impurities, generally contain HfO2, easily
separated.
There are three crystalline pure ZrO2 at atmospheric pressure: Monoclinic Zirconia (m-ZrO2),
Tetragonal Zirconia (t-ZrO2) and Cubic Zirconia (c-ZrO2) .

t-ZrO2 1200-2370 ℃ 6.10g / cc
c-ZrO2 > 2370 ℃ 6.27g / cc
Adding the stabilizer CaO, MgO, Y2O3, denoted as Ca-PSZ, Mg-PSZ, Y-PSZ.The consisting
of t- ZrO2 tetragonal zirconia polycrystalline ceramics called tetragonal zirconia polycrysta,
TZP. When the
stabilizer is added Y2O3, CeO2, respectively denoted as Y-TZP, Ce-TZP.
