1-2 Brief Introduction of Plant
Wuxi Xishan Electric Furnace Plant is located in Bashi, Xibei Township, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China. It was founded in 1982 . Engaged in the research and innovation of electric furnaces ever since its foundation, it has procured a profound knowledge for the design and manufacture of electric furnaces. With 30 years of practical experience amassed and the assimilation of advance technologies of foreign countries in the furnace making, it has never stopped its efforts in its innovative work for perfection. Therefore it is widely acknowledged by the profession and praised for its good reputation.
It mainly serves non-ferrous fabrication industry with its products including mains frequency induction melting furnaces both with and without cores, medium frequency induction melting furnaces, vacuum induction melting furnaces, and related equipment including horizontal continuous casting units for tubes, bars, strips of copper and its alloys, semi-continuous vertical casting units, upward drawing units for rods of oxygen free copper, bell type annealing furnaces, pot type and chamber type annealing furnaces,stretch levelers for finished strips and heating furnaces for copper bars.

These two kinds of vacuum annealing furnaces are batch type furnaces. Their rated powers and temperatures are designed according to the requirements of different materials to be annealed. The vacuity in the furnaces is -0.1Mpa.They are used for the normalization, annealing and heating of non-ferrous materials. These furnaces are of a welded steel structure and constructed with light-weight fireproof materials. Their exteriors are heat insulated with asbestos plates and silicate fibers.
In 2005, we succeeded in designing a two-strand casting line for Cu-Zn strip with specs of 450x16 mm for Zijin Copper in Fujian Province. It is the first line of the type in China and therefore we submitted a patent application for its crystallizer.
In 2000, our plant was certified by ISO9001:2000.Our after-sale service team was strengthened and our equipment was perfected.
In 2011, our horizontal casting units were certified by CE of European Union.
