DBG103 3# air cylinder head vertical caliper disc brake
DBG brake is a kind of straight caliper disc brake with air cylinder head, different size of cylinder head, its braking force is different. Caliper disc brake with two pieces of friction pads, so it is used to clamp steel disc plate for stopping.
This DBG pneumatic caliper disc brake is a vertical installation brake. It is friction type air applied brake. After supplying air pressure, two friction pads clamped braking disc plate, making it stopped. After exhausting air pressure, springs make two friction pads back, brake released, then braking disc plate rotating continous.
There are six models of it: DBG103, DBG104,DBG105, DBG203,DBG204,DBG205.The DBG103, DBG104,DBG105 three models air caliper disc brake is suitable for braking disc thickness is 10mm braking. And DBG203, DBG204, DBG205 three models pneumatic caliper disc brakes are suitable for 20mm braking disc thickness plate. Although their thickness is different, while they produce braking force is the same for same diameter braking plate. Detail you can see it:
From above torque trend chart we can aware of braking torque is varied as braking disc plate diameter and air pressure, there is no influence of braking disc thickness. And braking force is positively related of air pressure and braking disc plate diameter. The max air pressure is 0.7Mpa, and minimum friction disk plate diameter is 260mm. When air pressure is 0.7Mpa, braking disc diameter is 260mm, DBG103 and DBG203 both 180N.m.
