Equipment introduction:
Ice flaker is a kind of ice maker. According to the water source, it can be divided into fresh water ice flaker and seawater ice flaker. Generally, it is mostly industrial ice maker. The flake ice is thin, dry and loose white ice, with a thickness of 1.0mm to 2.5mm, one side irregular shape and a diameter of about 12 to 45mm. The ice has no sharp edges and corners and will not stab frozen objects. It can enter the gap between the objects to be cooled, reduce heat exchange, maintain the temperature of ice, and have good moisturizing effect. Flake ice has the characteristics of large cooling capacity and rapid cooling, so it is mainly used in various large-scale refrigeration facilities, food quick freezing, concrete cooling and so on.
Flake ice is dry, soft and without acute angle. It can protect the packaged food in the process of cold packaging. Its flat appearance will minimize the possible damage to the refrigerated goods. Due to the huge surface area of flake ice, its heat exchange process is rapid. Flake ice can quickly melt into water, take away heat and increase humidity for the mixture.

Classification of ice flaker:
The ice flaker can be classified according to the output and can be divided into:
Large ice flaker: 25 tons to 60 tons
Medium ice flaker: 5 tons to 20 tons
Small ice flaker: 0.5T to 3T
From the nature of water source: fresh water ice flaker and seawater ice flaker
Classification of water source properties: fresh water ice flaker and sea water marine ice flaker fresh water ice flake and fresh water is taken as water source to produce ice flake. The ice flaker which takes seawater as the water source is mostly used for navigation. The marine ice flaker is designed for marine ice making operation. It adopts a semi closed piston compressor with deep oil tank and a marine seawater condenser, which can be free from the influence of hull swing and seawater corrosion.

Use of flake ice:
Flake ice is widely used in food processing, manufacturing, concrete cooling and so on.
Fishery: sea water ice flaker can be directly installed on fishing boats to make ice from sea water. The salvaged seafood can be quickly frozen and preserved. Fishery is one of the most important application fields of ice flaker all over the world.
Aquatic product processing: flake ice can reduce the temperature of processing medium, cleaning water and aquatic products, prevent the growth of bacteria and keep the freshness of aquatic products during processing.
Food processing: for example, when stirring or adding cream twice in bread production, use ice to cool down quickly to prevent fermentation.
