What is IPL Skin Rejuvenation?
IPL is a kind of photon therapeutic apparatus, also called IPL photo rejuvenation. It is widely used for skin rejuvenation, hair removal and pigmentation removal with the therapeutic mechanism of thermal selective effect. It is a kind of non-abrasive photodynamic therapy, making use of insignificant amount of intense pulsed light technology to conduct non-abrasive skin rejuvenation therapy with low energy and density, to achieve the purpose of rejuvenating and beautifying the skin.

Hair removal:
The light with long wavelength can easily pass through epidermis to the hair follicles in the deep part of the skin. At the targeted area, high temperature occurs to destroy follicles and hair shaft and prevent regrowth of new hair. Hair follicles includes a lot of melanocytes. The special light is sensitive to the melanocytes but not the same to the normal skin, therefore, the normal skin will be not harmed. The treatment is safe and effective. Melanocytes is absorbed
through the light , which is transformed to the heat energy. Then the temperature of the hair follicles would rise. When the temperature rise to high enough, the structure of hair follicles is totally damaged. So the hair is removed permanently.
Skin rejuvenation:
Photothermic and photochemical action will be affected by the radiation of IPL, pigments is shattered and eliminated out of body by metabolism.
Meanwhile, IPL will also give a boost to collagen production, which can make the skin more flexible and smooth and remove fine wrinkles.

SHR technology
Research has shown that a slower, but longer heating process is considerably more effective for permanent hair removal than high and short levels of energy. Therefore, when using SHR, the device is passed over the tissue multiple times (in motion) using low energy but a high rate of repetition (up to 10Hz, i.e. 10 times per second) instead of using the traditional method with single, high- energy impulses. Thus, the hair melanin, as well as the tissue of the stem cells, is heated with low energy at a slow pace and over a longer period of time to a comfortable temperature of 45° Celsius.
