Both sleeve and nipple are hardened to make the couplings resistant to damage from brinelling and mechanical shock. The durable-ball-locking mechanism ensures a reliable connection every time. Captive valve seal assures poppet sealing the valve seal is postively captured by the metal popet to minimize seal washout or damage from high velocity fluid. Dust caps available,female pipe and BSPP or NPT tread are available upon request
