Brief Introduction – Three Roll Mill:
The three roll mill is especially suitable for processing materials with high viscosity and fineness.
The machine is equipped with a cooling system to reduce the temperature. It is widely used in high viscosity industries, such as paint, printing oil, coating, ink, pigment, plastic, food, etc.
The three rollers, with the parallel arrangement, rotate at different velocities to squeeze, rub, shear, and grind the materials.
Main Features:
- The three rollers are made of cold hard alloy material and ground on a special convex abrasive machine so that the effective working surface of the rollers is slightly convex.
- The space between different rollers can be changed manually. It is one of the best wet grinding equipment for grinding and refining.
- In order to finish the original fineness, hardness, and toughness, materials can be ground once, twice, or more times, and ultimately to achieve the required fineness (generally about 3-18 microns, determined by the fineness board).
