Okumidori is a relatively rare cultivar characterized by citrusy aromas, and rich umami flavor saturated with the warmth of the sun. The leaves are rolled into elegant thin needles and possess a lush, deep green color.

Grown in Kagoshima, this organic spring tea –single estate, single cultivar- shows only little astringency and reveals a clear brew, as well as a sharp first taste followed almost instantly by a deep Umami tantalizing the senses with its soft, sweet and round flavor.
