INTRODUCTION

Swine influenza caused by specific virus of influenza A virus. Influenza A virus can be divided into various subtypes by different hemagglutinin and antigenicity of neuraminidase. 

 

 

PRINCIPLE

Swine influenza virus(SIV) antibody rapid test kit is a rapid immunochromatography assay that detect Swine influenza virus antibody in serum. This test kit has high sensitivity to all subtypes of influenza A virus.

After add sample into sample hole(S),antibodies in serum(if present in the test sample) form a complex with antigens in sample pad inhabiting the combination between antigen and antibody on T line, which stop T line to develop red. Otherwise, T line will develop red.

Test Procedure
1.Collect 0.5ml blood, centrifuge it at 3000rpm for 3-5 min, isolate serum (or stay overnight at 4 ℃),  collect serum.
2.Take out the test cassette.( refrigerated kits need to return room tempreture before test) Place the cassettte on a level and clean surface.
3.Pipette 30ul sample to the sample hole(S) slowly and dropwise.
4.Wait for 10 min.
5.Add 2 drops of buffer into sample hole(S)
6.Read  the results within 15min, over 15 min, the results are invalid. 

 

 

 

Precautions and Warnings
1. If Package bag is broken, products can’t be use.
2. Use device as soon as possible but within 1 hour after removal from the pouch specially.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
3.Sample serum must be clear, if there is visible particle, centrifuge it at 300rpm for 20 min.
4.Add too much sample and buffer may lead to incorrect results.
5.Storage at 4℃ for short term(48 hours), below -20℃ for long term.
6.Antibody level is located to T line, as long as C line is clear , the test results are valid.
7.The used cassette should be well dealt with.
8.Do not use kits past their expiration dates.
9.All unused biological materials should be disposed according to the local, regional and national regulations.
