Product Description

The LUGB type vortex street air flow meter is a kind of volume flowmeter to measure the volume flow of gas, steam or liquid, volume flow and mass flow in standard conditions based on Karman vortex  principle, and it can be used in the automation control system as flow transducer.

Electric performance indexes:

a. Operating power supply

Inner power supply: a 3.6V lithium battery, the screendisplays the battery capability in real time, the battery voltage within 2.9~3.6V could operate normally; when the voltage is lower than 2.9V, appears voltage shortage indication

External power supply: +24VCD±5%, ripple ≤±5%, when connecting external power supply, inner power supply cuts off automatically, and the whole machine operates with exterior power supply.

b. Output manner (Require additional power +24V)

Pulse signal of operating condition (three-wire system): Amplify and output the pulse signal of operating condition detected by flowmeter sensor, up level≥20W, low level≤1V, transmission distance≤300m.

4~20mA standard analog amount signal: 4~20mA standard analog amount signal line is in correspondence with 0~Qmax (standard flow), flow range is set by instrument, transmission distance ≤300m, power supplier is +24VDC exterior power.

RS485 interface signal: networking with the up-machine directly could transmit detected temperature, pressure, instant flow, standard volume flow and relevant instrument parameters, etc. And by matching with special MODEM could carry out telephone communication.

The entire machine consumption:

  1. Inner power: average consumption is 3mw, one lithium battery (15Ah) could be used for more than two years.
  2. Exterior power: the entire machine consumption ≤1W

 The function of real time data storage:

In order to adapt to the requirements in data management, the real-time data storage function is added, including:

  1. Recent 400 times’ starting and stopping time and corresponding flow net value.
  2. Latest twelve months’ monthly net flow
  3. Latest three hundred and sixty days’ each day net flow

Above storage data could be read and fetched by using a laptop PC or desktop computer through RS485 interface, analyzing according to the user formed data statement and curve figure.

 The pressure loss of flowmeter

  1. Under standard condition, the pressure loss P of each specified flowmeter could be checked out according to figure 4 when the medium is in the form of dry air.
  2. Under different conditions and for various mediums , the pressure loss of flowmeter could be calculated according to the formula below:

P =Po. p/1.205

In this formula: P---the actual pressure loss of flowmeter (kPa)

p----The medium density under actual condition (kg/m2 )

Po--- The pressure loss when the medium is dry air under standard condition (kPa)
