JH-F3416 is the outdoor CMTS of DOCSIS3.0 series CMTS. They are deployed in optical node and can be installed at chassis in buildings, shared boxes and even walls. Besides all the core functionality and performance of D3 series, this outdoor CMTS has more RF interfaces so as to connect to the existing equipment more conveniently. It is fanless, waterproof , dissipate heat by chassis and can realize "quiet operation". The data interface can be connected to both Ethernet and EPON. As to the RF port, there are 4 TV IN connecting TV signals from the optical receiver, 4 RF OUT connecting the HFC.
Outdoor CMTS transferred the mixture of data signals and TV signals from the front end plant room to the optical node, which, reduced the uplink "funnel", and lowed the noise. operators can now cover and access all users rapidly without changing the original network.
