Linalool is one of the most frequently used fragrance and perfumery substance and is produced in large quantity. Because of its relatively high volatility it imparts naturalness to top notes. Since, Linalool is alkali-stable; it can be applied in soaps and detergents. Linalyl esters can be prepared from Linalool.Flowery fresh odor, reminiscent of Lily of the Valley.
Linalool is basically colorless clear liquid which is soluble in Alcohol & Oils, It is insoluble in water.
