UAS SP Cartridge Filters
The UAS SP gas turbine air filter provides high levels of protection for self-cleaning gas turbine filtration systems. The advanced synthetic technology uses a special blend of fibers to effectively capture high levels of sub-micron particulate delivering high performance filtration and longer life while maintaining a low operational pressure drop. Its high dust-holding capacity helps prolong filter life and significantly lowers operating costs. The gas turbine air fitelr is designed to fit a range of new and retrofit systems in cross-flow, up-flow, and split up-flow configurations and is available in various sizes and materials in both cylindrical and conical styles. The element has been tested to, and complies with, a wide range of industry specifications including key OEM's performance specifications for gas turbine inlet filtration.

Air inlet filtration is a critical element to assure maximum operating efficiency of a gas turbine. Properly selecting and maintaining the filtration system can increase the performance and extend run time of the gas turbine as well as minimize unplanned maintenance associated with unexpected filter failure. Different styles of filter houses require different types of filtration. Proper filter / component selection should include consideration of environmental factors such as ambient dust concentration; humidity; intense periods of moisture such as fog, rain, and snow; and the durability required over the life of the filter.

Air Inlet Systems

Panel Filters
Panel filters, usually used as pre/first stage filters in static inlet systems for gas turbines, have the main purpose of removing larger particles such as pollens, paper dust, and other coarse impurities. Typical filter class: G4 / MERV 7 or 8
Bag filters
Bag or pocket filters are mainly used as pre/first stage filters in the gas turbine air inlet, ranging from M6-F9 / MERV 11 to 16 in filter class.
Compact filters
Compact or mini-pleat are high efficiency air inlet filters used for second and/or third stage filtration, depending on the gas turbine air inlet system. Typical range from M6 or MERV 11 up to E12 (EPA level), for the best gas turbine protection.
Weather protection
Gas turbine air intakes are frequently exposed to large amounts of water from heavy rain, fog and mist. The air filter system should therefore be protected by using a water and moisture eliminating first stage
