Lab1st Glass Wiped Film Distillation Unit
Molecular (wiped film) distillation is the best thermal separation machine for heat-sensitive material because it is the gentlest type, causing the least amount of thermal degradation of product. It is a process of separation, purification and concentration of natural products, complex and thermally sensitive molecules. Lab1st molecular distillation units are wildly used for purification of oils, such as herb oil, garlic oil, cod liver oil in chemical and pharamaceutical industries.
In the system, material is delivered from a feed flask into a cylindrical evaporation section, having heating on the outside and a diagonally slotted wiper mechanism forcing liquid around and downward in a thin film on the inside. In the center of the body is a closely positioned internal condenser, providing a short path for vapor molecules traveling from the heated surface to the condenser surface.
Lab1st molecular distillation units have three series (glassware, stainless steel or hybrid) with different throughput for
yourchoices, from 0.5kg/hr up to 250kg/hr. In addition to the single stage systems, we also offer multi-stage systems to improve your working efficiency.
