Floor spring is a hydraulic closer, its device which stress the spring is worm gear, not wheel gear.
Because worm gear can rotate both side, so floor spring can use for two way opening door, and door closer only use for single direction opening door. The key technique of floor spring is the bottom bearing plate, it decide the bearing level of the floor spring. Compare to door closer, two way opening door’s floor spring need to bear door’s weight, so floor spring choosing is depend on the weight of door.
In practical use, door leaf’s weight will not above normal range, so the door’s width and wind pressure are the main element. Another notice is the proportion of the width and height, if the proportion is not good, door leaf can not use normally.
From the view of producing, floor spring’s worm gear structure make it compress rate smaller than wheel gear, floor spring’s closing arm is shorter, so floor spring’s quality depends on the design of structure and precise producing.

Floor spring install method:
A.Draw lines, Make the heart of spindle coincide with the spindle of the door holder.
B.Drill holes according the instruction, the size of the hole must fit for the box of floor spring, can not move.
C.Put floor spring to the hole, adjust position.
D.Lift the door leaf, let the spindle of floor spring put inside the hole of door leaf’s spindle.
E.Adjust three direction’s screw of the foor spring.
F.Adjust the speed of the closing.
G.Put on the lid of the floor spring.
