The AGV car should choose Hawk battery AX lead-acid series or Hawk battery EV lithium-ion series according to different application scenarios and needs.
1. HOKE AGV battery type selection
There are two types of Hawk batteries used in AGV cars: lead-acid battery AX12-XX and lithium battery EV24-XX/EV48-XX. (XX refers to battery capacity) For detailed Hock AGV battery parameter table, please contact the market service personnel.
The voltage of each unit of Hawk lead-acid battery is 12V, and it forms a 24V or 48V battery pack through series connection. The optional capacity is 18AH, 26AH, 45AH, 60AH, 75AH, 100AH, 120AH, 150AH, 180AH, 200AH, 250AH;
The maximum allowable discharge current of lead-acid battery is more than 10C, and the normal discharge current is 0.5C; The maximum charging current is 0.2C, and it takes 10-12 hours to charge the discharged battery. It is usually used in simple AGV cars, where the production pace is not very compact. Due to the long charging time, it is generally necessary to assign special personnel to manage the battery charging. Each AGV car needs to be equipped with two sets of batteries (one for standby and one for use).
Hawk lithium battery pack has 24V, 48V, 72V, 96V, etc., and 24V and 48V are the most widely used. The optional capacity is 10AH, 20AH, 30AH, 40AH, 50AH, 60AH, 80AH, 100AH, 120AH, 160AH, 180AH, 200AH, 300AH. The lithium battery size is relatively flexible, and can be customized according to the space of the AGV car battery compartment. The energy density is higher than that of the lead-acid battery. Under the same volume, it can store more electricity, and the battery life is longer. At the same time, it supports fast charging. The standard Hawk lithium battery can achieve 2C charging, and the customized maximum can achieve 5C charging. The standard discharge is 0.5C, and the maximum discharge is 2C.
Because Hawk lithium battery has the function of fast charging, it is often used in scenes with high automation requirements. There is no specially-assigned person to control the charging of the battery on site. The AGV system automatically collects the power information, automatically matches the battery charging time and current according to different states, so as to maximize the working efficiency of the AGV car. Generally, it works in the form of shallow charging and shallow discharging. The battery power of the car remains basically unchanged every cycle of operation, and it can realize long-term automatic operation and unattended operation.

Hawk lithium battery contains a battery management system (BMS), which has the protection functions of overcharge, over-discharge, over-temperature, over-current, etc. At the same time, the internal calculation of the remaining power (SOC) can be real-time feedback to the AGV car, support RS485 communication, CANopen communication, power AO output, and battery DIO information exchange. The AGV car can obtain the battery status information through the interactive interface, and control the battery according to the requirements to realize intelligent management.
