Product features and advantages

VOK ®- Disper 9171

The pigment is deflocculated and stabilized by steric hindrance. The product is produced by controlled polymerization technology, and the molecular weight distribution is very narrow. The narrow molecular weight distribution makes the pigment dispersion have good stability.

VOK ®- The strong deflocculating effect of Disper 9171 can greatly improve the gloss, optical density, transparency and/or coverage, reduce the viscosity of the abrasive, and improve the long-term storage stability of pigment concentrate slurry and finished ink.

Recommended use

VOK ®- Disper 9171 is especially suitable for dispersing stable organic pigments and disperse dyes, which can effectively reduce the viscosity of abrasive and increase the pigment content in pigment concentrate slurry. Especially recommended for resin free grinding.

The recommended amount of additives (purchase form) is based on pigments:

Disperse dye: 20-120%

Inorganic pigment: 10-50%

Titanium dioxide: 2-10%

Organic pigment: 20-120%

Carbon black: 30-200%

The above recommended dosage is for reference only, and good dosage shall be determined through a series of experiments.

Adding method and processing guidance Wetting and dispersing additives should usually be added to the abrasive, only in this way can it be fully effective.

Grinding can only be carried out in water (without resin, organic amine and cosolvent). Mix the auxiliary agent with water, and add the pigment only after the auxiliary agent is completely dispersed and uniform.
