Properties
AXTAN KL shows the properties of the leather are equal to the chrome tanned leather with good fullness, softness and spring. AXTAN KL brings about the shrinkage temperature over 90°C. If you have higer requirement of TS, over 100°C also will be fulfilled. AXTAN KL gives the wet white with mild and light color tone, and exhibits an extraordinary dyeing effect. It eases to operate the subsequent process such as shaving and wringing.
AXTAN KL is by no means the chrome or other toxic heavy metal; it is environment friendly and not harmful to the human.
AXTAN KL is never has formaldehyde and organophosphate.
AXTAN KL assists to increase in the absorption of subsequent agents, and support to reduce the quantity between 20 to 30% fatliquor in comparison to chrome tanned pelts.

Quantities to be used
The application of AXTAN KL is similar with chrome tanning agent.
For tannage we recommend that 3-4% AXTAN KL, based on limed weight, be offered. After addition of AXTAN KL the tanning process should be continued about 90 to 120 minutes before basifying.

Safety and Storage
It is not a hazardous chemical. Normal safety precautions associated with the handling of chemicals should be
observed.The product should be stored under steal in cool, dry place. Must not throw; keep out of sun and away
water. The product can be stored up to one year at normal temperature (25°C), if be stored as required. Please
always read and follow the product information in our safety data sheets.
