Wet Method Process Active Zinc Oxide Description :

Generated by the reaction of zinc ash and sulfuric acid , sodium carbonate and ammonia respectively and then reacted with to produce zinc carbonate and zinc hydroxide as raw material of producing zinc oxide . The reaction equation is as follows:

Zn + H2SO4 → ZnSO4 + H2 ↑

ZnSO4 + Na2CO3 → ZnCO3 ↓ + Na2SO4

ZnSO4 + 2NH3 · H2O → Zn (OH) 2 ↓ + (NH4) 2SO4

Zinc carbonate as raw material , washing , drying , calcination , crushing obtained zinc oxide product .

ZnCO3 → ZnO + CO2 ↑

Zinc hydroxide as a raw material , the precipitate was washed with water, dried and calcined , cooled and pulverized to obtain a zinc oxide product .

Zn (OH) 2 → ZnO + H2O
