Polarizers are lenses manufactured according to the principle of polarization of light, which can exclude and filter scattered light in the beam, prevent ultraviolet rays and filter polarized light. A good polarizer can achieve the color of the surrounding environment without distortion, the edges of the object are clear, can effectively identify different color signal lights, and reduce the role of ultraviolet rays irradiated into the pupil.
According to the different mechanisms of filtering polarized light, polarizers can be divided into circular polarizers (CPL) and linear polarizers (LPL).
