Back in 2003, bamboo was rarely heard of in the textile industry ?even more remotely heard of in the fabric industry! Bamboo Textiles was one of the first to discover its remarkable attributes and produce it as fiber and fabrics. While the reen movement?was becoming more prominent, we began to see that there could be other sustainable organic fabrics besides cotton. Since bamboo is easily grown in abundance and, obviously, biodegradable, we believed a revolution was ready to begin. Working closely with other fiber/fabric manufacturers, we developed a top-rated, durable, plush line of 25 fabrics and clothing utilizing organic certification-required methods.
Today, we provide fabrics to some of the top brand names seen in stores ranging from Nordstrom to Target but we also supply many designers who are able to buy fabrics by the roll direct from our California warehouse. We specialize in supplying many of the diaper companies and diapers coop ops. We carry around 20,000 yards at a time in our USA warehouse and this is always ready to be shipped out daily. With a wide array of fabrics from a very fine single gauge to heavy double knits, and varying blends of bamboo and organic cotton, we are considered one of the top leaders of quality products. Our very low min orders are what have made the company grow from a small company to larger company. Our bamboo is certified Organic Bamboo which we are very proud of and can provide the customers with this certificates. All our fabrics have passed class 1 flammable testing. We have certification for OEKO testing for harmful chemicals and have passed all lead testing by INTERTEX according to CPSIA. We are always looking for ways to produce new blends of bamboo with other organic plants and materials.
