About Atlas Copco in China
Atlas Copco started its sales activities in China as early as 1920s, initially via import from Europe. In 1959, the first Atlas Copco company was established in Taiwan. The four business areas of Atlas Copco Group -namely, Compressor Technique, Vacuum Technique, Industrial Technique and Power Technique-have begun operations in China by selling air and gas compressors, portable compressors, generators, power tools and pumps, construction tools, pneumatic and electric power tools and assembly systems through a global network with a strong brand portfolio operation. All of these are backed up by a nationwide sales, distribution, service and maintenance network. By the end of 2018, Atlas Copco China employed 5454 employees and operated 200 regional branch offices in China. As one of the most important markets to the Group, Atlas Copco China will further develop its market and expand the presence in China, through innovative industrial solutions with increasing sustainable productivity to the Chinese customers.
