Air compressor oil and gas separator is used to separate the oil out of the compressed air, and get the clean air without oil. The performance of oil-gas separator will directly influence the efficiency,oil consumption,compressed air quality of the compressor.High quality oil-gas separator should have the characteristics of complete oil and gas separation,small initial resistance,long service life and etc.Oil-gas separator can efficiently separate the oil out of the compressed air to insure to exhaust high quality clean air. Generally it can filter the oil drop more than 3μm,good oil-gas separator adopt corrosion resistant,high efficient,superfine filter material, when 0.01-1 μ m oil and gas mixture pass,big oil drop will cohere on the outside surface of filter. Under the action of gravity,oil drop will flow direction to the bottom of filter and accumulate together. Finally through the oil return pipe, and reflow to the oil return tank. After the separation, the oil content of compressed air is extremely low.
How to judge the sdifferential pressure of the screw air compressor oil and gas separator had damaged?
Differential pressure alarm means the pressure difference between the inside and outside of separator filter has surpassed the set point and it needs to change the filter! If the pollution from air compressor air outlet include oil, it means the filter had been breakdown.The differential pressure is almost close to zero, and filter is scrap.
